Q: I’m used to seeing a doctor in person. Why doesn’t DietDemand have any physical offices that I can visit?
A: After setting up 22 affiliate locations across the U.S., we noticed that our patients’ success rates of our patients weren’t as high as they could be. After conducting a survey to improve the patient experience, it was determined thathaving physical locations were often a barrier to successful weight loss for people who could not drive to a physical location to pick up medications, seek nutritional advice, or speak with a doctor when they needed assistance. DietDemand’sremoval of our physical locations and conversion to telemedicine for patients’ convenience, saw our patients’ success rates rise to nearly 97%.
Q: What is telemedicine?
A: Telemedicine is a way to connect doctors and patients utilizing the latest technology, in place of in person doctor visits. Such consultations are conducted via video, online chat or by phone, and it is often used to serve patients in rural areas, patients with transportation issues, patients who suffer from mobility problems and more. Telemedicine has steadily grown as a trusted means of receiving doctor-based care throughout the world.

A: Our program costs can depend on your budget, but our customized diet planning and one-on-one consultations begin at $299. Medication costs will vary, but ongoing support averages about $199 per month.

Q: Can DietDemand help me figure out why I can’t lose weight?
A: Of course! Our primary goal is to help you understand your weight loss struggles, so they may be addressed. Most patients need help answering this question, and unfortunately come to find that the majority of one-size-fits-all diet programs out there fail to get to the root of their problems. DietDemand’s approach is to not only trigger short-term weight loss, but long-term success and weight maintenance for improved health overall.

Q: How long will it take for the physician to respond to my visit request?
A: Our doctors have up to two (2) business days to either give a diagnosis or request more information, if necessary.
Q: Why do I have to fill out additional intake questions?
A: DietDemand needs as much information about your circumstances as possible, to create the most effective diet plan for you. Remember, each plan is based on the unique information that you provide. So, our records need to be as accurate and as complete as necessary to give you the best possible chances of success.
Q: How much weight can I really lose on a DietDemand plan?
A: No two people are alike, and our programs are based on the needs of every unique individual. So, results will vary based on each situation. However, as long as you’re committed to the program, our doctors will work with you to optimize your weight loss and hit your weight loss targets within specified timeframes.
Q: I have heard of other diet plans, such as paleo, the Stillman, and South Beach. Can’t I lose weight on one of these?
A: Most people begin new diets simply because they’ve been reportedly successful for others. However, a diet that has been successful for someone else doesn’t mean that it will be successful in all cases. Some body types might respond better to the South Beach diet that others, for instance. Additionally, none of those diets include one-on-one support from certified weight loss specialists, which is a major factor in choosing the right type of diet to suit your needs.
Q: I need to lose a lot of weight, fast. Why not just use gastric bypass surgery?
A: Gastric bypass surgeries can be effective for fast weight loss, but the risks may outweigh the benefits (especially for patients with existing medical conditions). These procedures often manipulate the digestive system and fail to target the true causes of weight loss, which is why many people who opt for these surgeries end up gaining the weight back within two years. DietDemand offers quick weight loss programs that occur naturally, without having to undergo invasive surgeries.
Q: Are medical weight loss programs safe?
A: Medical weight loss programs are amongst the safest diet programs out there. Doctor-supervised weight loss ensures that you are monitored by a professional who can factor in your health considerations and proceed with a plan that makes sense. Our programs cut calories reasonably, without starvation and other low-calorie methods that lead to low-energy and binge eating. Our team also provides effective appetite suppressant medications to help you lose weight without the incessant hunger pangs.
Q: Is meat allowed on aDietDemand plan?
A: Of course! Unless you have strict dietary requirements, our team knows that protein is an essential part of a healthy nutrition plan.
